Plans for a trip
Four groups of hikers are planning a trip on a trail
30 kilometers long.
- Group A is planning to walk the whole way at 4 km/hour.
- Group B is planning to walk the first half of the trail at
5 km/hour and the second half at 3 km/hour.
- Group C is planning to walk the first half of the trail at
3 km/hour and the second half at 5 km/hour.
- Group D is planning to walk at 5 km/hour during the first half of the duration of
the trip, and at 3 km/hour during the second half.
