ACTIVITIES AT BEIT THERESIENSTADT
Towards the New Millenium
Half a year ago I was elected as chairman of our association. Time went by fast and it seems to me, as if it was yesterday. This makes one aware of how little time there is - and how much work. To broaden the scope of our activities we have to strengthen our association. That means to mobilize new members of the second generation and to activate them. We plan to dedicate ourselves specifically to this task in this coming year.
Dr. Eli Lawental Chairman of the Association
International Meeting in the Year 2000 On May 20, 2000, the traditional annual meeting of our members will be held at Beit Terezin, Kibbutz Givat Hayim-Ihud. This time it will be international, with many participants from abroad. The exact program will be mailed later, but we wanted to let our members have the exact date already now, so the members from abroad will be able to make their preparations in time. We hope to welcome at our meeting many friends from abroad.
